Service Aims

• To enable parents/carers to take up or continue in training, education or employment whilst knowing that their children aged 0-12 years are cared for in a safe and stimulating environment

• To ensure that children have the opportunity to experience a wide range of fun and educational activities and outings with new friends which covers their physical, intellectual, emotional and social development
  
• To ensure that each individual child’s needs and interests are met
  

What?
The Early Years service provides childcare for children aged from birth to five years, throughout the year.

The Out of School Care service provides term time & holiday childcare cover for school aged children. Car escort is available to and from schools within Port Glasgow during term time.

Provision is available for short or long term cover, whether you need childcare to accept employment or a shorter period of care to enable you to take up a training course.
 
The service involves planning and implementing fun and educational activities in a safe and stimulating environment and building good relationships with children and parents. Children using the service have the opportunity to meet and play with a wider group of friends.

Where?
The service is provided within Springwell Cottage in Port Glasgow, incorporating local amenities and places of interest in Inverclyde, Paisley and Glasgow.

When?
The childcare service operates throughout the year from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. You can book your child in on the days that you require,

Fees?
£4.00 per hour.
Escorting to/from school, snacks and lunches can be provided.
Home escorting service available by negotiation.
